The young aspiring hip-hop artist prides himself on being one of the top lyricists to hit Philadelphia in years. He has been compared to rappers such as Common, Black Thought, J.Cole, and Talib Kweli due to his flow, lyrical content, song making ability and versatility, but at the same time has managed to set himself apart from the masses by staying true to himself and telling his own story through his lyrics.

fortsetzen, weitergehen, in bewegung bleiben. texte schreiben, die traurigkeit, die wut, die verzweiflung wegschreiben. immer und immer wieder. on the road again, jeden tag sprache, jeden tag rap, jeden tag auf der suche nach zeilen, die sich dem annähern, was gesagt werden muss. vielleicht irgendwann den einen wirklich besonderen song schreiben. purkwa schreibt gegen die absurdität des alltäglichen. im wissen, dass dies selbst absurd ist, nicht gelingen kann. in einer welt in der alles reglementiert, standardisiert und vorgeformt ist, einen anderen weg gehen, einen ausweg suchen, auf angeblichen irrwegen trotzig entlangschlendern und der welt den glücklichen mittelfinger ins gesicht halten.
